• Accommodation is your own boutique apartment in a country guest house
• Round-trip transfers Leonardo Da Vinci Airport, Rome  (FCO)

• Visits to Assisi, Cortona, Citta Delle Pieve, and Deruta

Seasonal Experiences:

• September Grape stomping, vineyard tour, wine tasting, and lunch at a local winery
                                                                 

First you pick, then you squish…afterward lunch is served with local meats, cheeses, veggies, and of course pasta and wine

Grape Squish to your heart’s content! Dress up like “Lucy” for a very fun day.

• October Olive harvest experience with lunch, including a visit to a traditional frantoio (pressing plant) to learn how fresh olives are pressed into “Liquid Gold.”

Pick olives with the locals and then enjoy a typical Italian lunch with wine, of course….

A visit to the frantolio to see how the olives are processed into fresh extra virgin olive oil…wait until you taste this!!!

Former flight attendant Nedra Bottieri made a life-changing trip to Italy twenty years ago to re-discover her family heritage. Now with dual citizenship, she has a second home in Umbria. Through her company, Village Vacations in Italy, she organizes and hosts small group tours based in small villages in Umbria and Tuscany, normally customized tours for private groups. Groups have included yoga workshops, writing workshops, and groups of family and friends.
