Stunning Highlights of Europe for Photographers
As professional photographers, Magrit and I conduct 8–9 photo tours in Europe each year. We usually spend around 4.5 months in Europe and have guided and taught photographers of various skill levels over the past 9 years. We’ve specialized in Europe because we love the photographic diversity each country has to offer, from the magnificence of 9000-ft high mountain ranges to colorful Mediterranean fishing villages, elegant medieval hill towns and the charming landscape of the Netherlands, a country entirely under sea level. We also have a personal affinity to Europe as Magrit grew up in the middle of it in Austria.
Before we continue on to Portugal to conduct our next tour there, we’d like to invite you on a visual journey to the 4 countries we’ve visited and photographed so far this year.
Our photo tour season started in Naples, the Amalfi Coast and the colorful island of Procida at the end of April. We then traveled all over the Netherlands to find the best photo locations and hotels for a new tour in 2020 and then started a string of 4 tours in a row starting with the Italian Cinque Terre, followed by Tuscany, Venice and Slovenia/Croatia.
We hope that you’ll enjoy these images and maybe even get excited about seeing these wonderful locations with your own eyes and cameras.
