In a Paris Garden
Anne & Kirk Woodyard – Music and Markets Tours
It’s a lovely day in Paris – what shall we do? How about a relaxed wander through Luxembourg Gardens? I never tire of the views here… it could be a long vista down an allée of precisely trimmed trees,
plumes of grasses surrounded by colorful flowers,
blazes of crimson around the Senate building, guarded by spiffy soldiers every few feet,
bursts of pink in all shades, or Kirk’s favorite fountain, the lovely Medici work of art, with elegant garlands of ivy running down each side.
Have you been lately? The garden is a delight in every season – always worth a stroll!

We’ve visited Europe more times than we can count, learned some entertaining stories there, and met some warm and helpful people who also enjoy the wonders of music and life in Europe.
Between our music-related travels, we split our time between our homes near Washington DC and the south of France. We look forward to sharing these stories and friends and experiences with our Music and Markets guests.
While both of us have experience in organizing travel and music groups Kirk’s background is in project management and competitive writing, and Anne is an accomplished pianist with over thirty years of teaching experience, and a travel and food writer specializing in France and Italy.
Paris garden is really so much beautiful, I went there last year with my kids. They really like it. I am planning again to visit it. Your pics are really very nice.
