We were very happy to welcome aboard Parisian social media blogger Lily Heise and friend Lauren for a micro cruise aboard the Randle to make a photo blog of the picturesque Canal du Nivernais, the Randle, and of course the wonderful crew.

The cruise started with the traditional champagne welcome aboard with petite gougére, cheese and mustard shoe pastry bites, a local delicacy.

Lunch prepared by our gourmet chef Gael aboard the Randle, followed by an afternoon cruise Clamecy and back from our overnight port of Chevroches

Chevroches at Sentier Charles Loupot, Charles Loupot lived in Chevroches and is famous for his classic 1930’s French poster art.

The next day started with French pastries from the local baker, Brioche, Croissant and pain au chocolat, with freshly squeezed orange juice, local yogurts, jams, artisan honey and cereal,

Petit-dejeuner, Breakfast is served, Brioche, Croissant and pain au chocolat,

Lunch is served aboard the Randle.

Followed by a cruise to Villiers sur Yonne for lunch aboard before Lily and Lauren leave for their journey back to Paris dropping in to Auxerre to check out the town centre and its amazing lunar clock tower.
