It’s not too late to get the heck out of Dodge this fall.

Many of us are basking in the glory of summer: the tomatoes, the blackberries, the ice cream cones on warm evenings.

But October is around the corner and with it shorter days—and if you live in a colder region—a lot more rain and foggy mornings.

You don’t need to pull out the wool sweaters quite yet. Keep them in the box and instead chase the sun with us in Italy and Portugal.

Our trips for solo female travelers are the perfect getaway for fall vacations. We’re off to the Amalfi Coast in Italy from October 3–9, 2026, and then off to the sunshine city of Lisbon from October 21–27, 2026.

All-women tours mean you are not the awkward third wheel amongst a bunch of couples (most of our guests come solo). Women-only trips also mean that you can make some new friends while exploring a new destination.

I was speaking to a guest the other day and she said, “Sure, I thought about just going alone, but I think it will be nice to share this experience with others.” Yeah, it will be, and also a lot more FUN.

And who doesn’t want more fun in their life this fall? (Raises hand enthusiastically.)
