On the Road Again: European Experiences in 2025
We’re on the road again… and it’s our 20th year!
Our European Experiences team launched our 2025 season in February with our Morocco Experience trip. It’s now early June and we’ve hosted 12 groups in Morocco, England, and France. We have six more groups coming up before we take a break in July and August. After spending several months in our home offices preparing for this year’s trips, we love being on the road again, sharing special experiences with our travelers.
We wanted give you a look at some of our recent trips and the reviews some of our travelers have posted on Google. We always appreciate these reviews and the perspectives they offer.
The Morocco Experience
This 11-night trip begins with two nights in Paris (featuring a cultural orientation at the Arab Institute), and the group then travels together to Morocco. We spend three nights each in Marrakech, Essaouira, and the Atlas Mountains.
“Morocco is diverse in landscapes and rich in culture. Whether in the Atlas Mountains, Marrakech, or Essaouira, the influences of Arab, Berber, European and African are reflected in the riads, medinas, and ancient cities. Our guides Jennifer, Charlotte, and JP were enthusiastic and engaging, and their effervescence was infectious as we explored this country on the north corner of Africa. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would absolutely book again with European Experiences.” (Diana from California)

“We were on the fantastic Moroccan trip in February. We loved the carefully organized tour that took us to different parts of Morocco. The accommodations were beautiful and the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful. We appreciated having the opportunity to explore the cuisine, even in a home where we helped prepare a delicious meal. We felt warmly welcomed everywhere we went. The tour was great fun (riding camels) but also highly educational. We highly recommend this tour!” (Nancy from North Carolina)

“My wife Laurie and I joined European Experiences in February 2025 on a trip to Morocco, led by Jennifer Dugdale and JP. This was our 4th trip with European Experiences. Every aspect of this trip was excellent! It was well researched, planned and executed for our optimum experience. Lodging, food, and variety: superb. Informative, immersive, rich in experience. Our perspectives and appreciation of the Moroccan people were broadened. For us, this was a huge and enjoyable learning experience! We left Morocco enriched, fulfilled, and grateful to Jennifer and JP and our many guides and hosts!” (Dave from New Hampshire)

My sister Kay and I have been on several trips with Jennifer, most recently to Morocco. Every trip was so much fun. We highly recommend European Experiences — especially Jennifer. We’ll go anywhere with her! She is a real pro, and a delightful person.” (Kerry from Maryland)
We’re looking forward to hosting this trip again next year, March 27 – April 7, 2026. Learn more about The Morocco Experience here.
The Cornwall Experience
We’ve been hosting groups in Cornwall since 2018, and we love exploring this very unique area of England. Our 10-night trip includes seven nights in Penzance, two nights on the Isles of Scilly, and a last night back in Penzance.
“I recently returned from my 5th trip with Kathy and Charley and it was outstanding as usual. As a Christmas gift to each other, my daughter and I went on the Cornwall trip (second time for me). There was a new adventure every day. Our hotel was in an ideal spot with small villages to either side and the sea right out in front. The trip was as always carefully orchestrated yet with plenty of time to explore on our own. The Mousehole Men’s Choir, St. Ives, the Isles of Scilly, ancient history sites – there’s so much to see and enjoy in Cornwall.” (Charley from Georgia)

“Our European Experience with this immersive travel company was well organized, very informative, and a lot of fun. My husband and I took the 10-day Cornwall Experience, based in Penzance and on the gorgeous subtropical island of St. Martin’s off the coast. We enjoyed comfortable accommodations, along with excellent tours of breathtaking land- and seascapes, ancient sites, gorgeous gardens, charming towns and museums and local cultural icons among the well-planned excursions with knowledgeable and friendly local guides…. Best of all were our delightful, intellectually curious, kind and hilarious travel companions, a crosscut of folks from South Africa, Australia, and the United States: couples and solo women travelers alike. Our hosts and guides Kathy and Charley Wood and Drew Fedorka were extremely knowledgeable, attentive and accommodating, while being lots of fun to converse with. We have been mostly independent travelers, but having someone take care of all the details and deliver an outstanding experience was a revelation. If you are thinking about booking a trip with European Experiences, go for it. You will have a great time.” (Stephanie from Tennessee)

We’re hosting The Cornwall Experience again in 2026, April 14 – 24. Learn more about The Cornwall Experience here.
And these reviews were just posted… from two of our most recent trips!
The Luberon Experience
This is our 20th year hosting The Luberon Experience, our “signature” trip in Provence.

“We’ve traveled to Europe many times and to France four times prior to taking the Luberon trip with Kathy and Charley of European Experiences. I can say without any hesitation that this was the BEST vacation I have ever enjoyed in my 71 years. Traveling with Kathy, Charley and Christian felt like visiting family in the Luberon. We got to enjoy the culture of the area, the history and the food (AMAZING!). We felt it was such a true immersion experience and most definitely will return to travel with them. WONDERFUL!” (Ann and Brian from New York)

We’re offering The Luberon Experience four times in 2026, in May and September/October. Learn more about The Luberon Experience here.
Inside Lyon
Inside Lyon is one of our newest trips, developed and hosted by Drew Fedorka of our European Experiences team. This four-night trip is designed to combine with seven-night Experience trips in France.

“We just returned from the Inside Lyon trip. It was our 7th experience with European Experience and our first time in Lyon and traveling with Drew. We combined this trip with a week in the Luberon. Lyon is so amazing that we would love to go back for a full week experience. The city feels very much like Paris but smaller and more approachable…. I can’t say enough about Drew who guided us inside the city and into the countryside of rustic stone villages and wineries. The restaurants and experiences he chose for us were well researched and fun. In restaurants he explained the dishes and encouraged us to sample traditional Lyonaisse cooking. The highlight meals were the Institute and dinner with a private chef in an apartment owned by his family that was the home of Napoleon Bonaparte’s mistress…. I would say this is a trip of a lifetime—and I hope to join a version of it again for a longer visit. I recommend this trip because of all the research and detail that went into its planning and Drew is delightfully informative and very enthusiastic.” (Bruce from Florida)

This was our first year to offer Inside Lyon. We’re now considering offering a one-week trip there! Stay tuned! Learn more about Inside Lyon trips in 2026 here.
