Spring Recap
Spring in Orvieto provides so much inspiration, and the artists traveling with Adventures in Italy this spring took full advantage. Four groups experienced all the blooms, festivals and processions Orvieto had to offer.

In the chilly first days of May, Susan Edmonson returned to lead her group in an entirely new stitching project. This group was unique in that all of the students had attended Susan’s class in 2024, so everyone knew each other and some even brought the previous project to show. It was a wonderful reunion!

Susan is returning again in 2027, with another new project in a new format. Watch the website and social media for dates and registration information.
Leaca Young was next, drawing on inspiration to help create a travel journal full of memories. The group was small enough that we could sip cappuccinos while painting, collaging and sharing stories. As part of Leaca’s instruction, each member of the group prepared a quote for the others, so everyone had a personal note from everyone else.

Leaca will also be returning in 2027 to teach Italian Vintage Romance. Registration will be available soon.
Frequent teacher Sue Spargo rounded out the spring with two groups back to back. It’s amazing how each person is inspired by something different, and how that inspiration manifests itself into their piece. Sue’s classes are longer, eight nights instead of six, because we include a special visit with Marino Moretti, a local ceramic artist, at his home studio. With the addition of the extra days the guests are able to make a lot of progress on their projects.

Sue will return in 2027.
The full roster of 2027 classes will be available for registration soon. Maybe 2027 is your year to join us?
