We Love August in Poland – The Summer Heat, Lazy Days and Fun Festivals!
We hope you’re enjoying the hot summer days of August, wherever you are and staying safe! For the past 12 years we’ve been spending Augusts in Poland, with our guests, small-groups and private parties, traveling around, attending wonderful local festivals and enjoying regional fare, including the best Polish LODY – ice cream! But, in 2020, unfortunately, we’re not in Poland and not hosting any of our guests. Although the pandemic has not allowed our guests to enjoy travel to Poland this summer, most of the popular festivals, luckily, will go on however, in much scaled back formats.

One of our favorite August festivals in Poland is the annual PIEROGI Festival in Krakow! We’ve blogged about this “delicious” festival many times over the past 12 years on both Slow Travel Tours blog and Poland Culinary Vacations blog. This year’s PIEROGI FESTIVAL is scheduled for August 13 – 16, 2020. Here are links to previous write ups about this not to be missed food festival in Poland!

This year’s Wine Days Festival in Jaslo has been cancelled but here are previous blog posts about this unique attraction in south-eastern Poland and other interesting wine festivals in Poland.
