Winemakers and Friends Wine Festival Returns in Celebration of Lower Silesian Wines
Once again the Lower Silesian winemakers returned to Partynice in Wroclaw, Poland with the 2021 Winemakers and Friends Festival and we had the pleasure to attend this fun fall event. The two day weekend event attracted large crowds of both wine and craft beer lovers, since some Lower Silesian breweries were also invited to join this year’s festival.
A total of 20 Lower Silesian vineyards, three craft breweries and local artisan cheese and other food makers gathered to share their wonderful products in an open picnic format.
The participating Lower Silesian vineyards were: Agat, Anna, Alvarum, Bielawska, Celtica, Christopher, Jadwiga, Jakubow, Jaworek, Katarzyna, Kindler, L’Opera, Moderna, Niemczanska, Otok, Silensi, Silensian, Swidnicka, Wino spod Slezy and 55-100.
The three craft breweries attending were: Profesja, Widawa and 4 sciany.
On both festival days organizers also offered wine tastings of various themes led by known wine magazine publishers, journalists and Polish wine guide book author.
Join us in 2022 on our “Five Days with Polish Wine in Lower Silesia & Wroclaw” tour with your family and friends. While on the tour, you’ll be able to meet many of the winemakers listed above and taste their delicious wines.
